Lisa Ptasienski first discovered her love for yoga in 2005 through a Rodney Yee DVD, Power Yoga – Total Body Workout. Strictly committed just for the exercise, little did she know how much more there is to yoga beyond the poses. In 2018, Lisa began to practice yoga much more regularly and intently as therapy for a minor knee injury and felt a calling to share the healing techniques with others. She finished her 200 RYT training in October 2020.
Lisa brings her calming presence to her classes and offers her students a safe and relaxed environment with “no judgements and no expectations.” She believes that yoga is for everyone who is open to a mind, body, spirit connection through movement and breath.
Lisa has experienced first-hand the soothing effect this ancient practice can provide on the body and the mind and is eager to share it with as many as she can. She believes that the world would be a better place if more people studied the practice of yoga.
In February 2021, Lisa completed Reiki Level 2 training and is currently working toward her 500-hour teacher training.
